aussie pink hammer coral - really this pink?

I agree that not all corals that you see pics of are always accurate (or even close sometimes) but I do know it's a "probably" for this coral. I have the exact coloration in my pink/purple hammer...I took some pics this morning as the lights were coming on (so they aren't the best) but you can see the green hammer and frogspawn beside it for comparison.

Unfortunately I only have a simple "point and shoot" camera so it won't pick up all the pinks and purples that come out in real life when you're actually standing here.

due to a shipping delay the package will have been in transit for 3 days. it was supposed to be overnight, delivered by 10:30am. who knows what the hell its going to look like when it gets here. but if it arrives dead or badly dying i'm sure the seller will send me another.

yes, UPS is messing up pretty bad. The package that was supposed to arrive on Wednesday will now arrive on Monday. There are some snails and some zoas in there that stand a chance but I am not expecting much from the LPS. On Monday, the seller is sending me my order again. The re-ship should arrive Tuesday.

That sucks. John is a good guy. I'm going there on Sunday so I will see it in person. He gets some really nice pieces in and quarantines them for a while too before he lets them go. Stinking mix ups in shipping!

I just went there this morning and picked up a couple of mp40s. I saw your replacement and it looks pretty good. They are lit by AIsol blues. Those will be my next purchase. You will be happy.

That picture definitely looks like it has a fiji purple bulb in there or something to accent that pink. However, yes, pink hammers are awesome. That is a very nice one. If it looks sub par in the bag definitely take a picture immediately and demand for another one or something equally cool or something.... 3 days transit is ridiculous.
