Got this guy at Coral Reef Farm on saturday! My camera doesn't show the color very well but it is insane in person. The green and orange are brighter than any other scoly i have seen in person.

DEFINITELY my favorite coral in the tank now, i cant stop looking at it! If they don't stop getting in AMAZING corals, i'm gonna have to upgrade tanks soon,lol!

They are beautiful and some what expensive, i promise myself to do research before buying any new corals. Does anyone know if they have to be spot fed daily?

nope no target feeding.

Thanks, no more daily target feeding for me, like every Saturday ok, but that is it. Because i know if i buy it it will die of a slow starvation in my tank.

They don't need to be spot fed but i do feed mine every couple weeks. This guy is pretty big(over 6 inches across) so i'll throw him a piece of silverside or shrimp every week or so probably.


Gasman is right on in price. He was pretty pricey but considering the colors, a bargain in my mind! The colors are SOOOO bright in person. Currentking and a few others saw it there before i picked it up and i'm pretty sure anyone who saw it there was impressed with it! Definitely not something you see everyday.


I've seen ones not as nice going for $400-500 online. This guy was about right in the middle of gasman's figures. He was about twice as much as any other coral i've bought:eek2: but definitely worth it to me. I agonized over spending that much for over an hour staring at it but i'm REALLY glad that i got it.

CRF does carry some of d nicest selection of corals around IMHO-
If u check out other sites like jendub/ultimatefrags and so forth u quickly realize how good u have it down here.

Very nice gasman, where did you get that one?

Mine just keep expanding:eek2: It's touching the front glass now and i had to move the leather and goni on its sides. He's almost 8 inches across now!
