Australian Elegance and Mandarin

Does the Elegance Coral hold the same danger for fish as anemones? We are debating on getting a large Australian Elegance (beautiful). However, we have a couple of slow healthy Mandarins that I don't want to take any chances with.

I have never had a problem with an Elegance feeding on salt water fish. Back in the day I would put fresh water minnows in my tank and they would swim right into the tentacles and be eaten. I keep a mandarin in my tank that is full of Elegance corals and he is doing fine.
