In my area Toronto Canada. Sps corals from Aussie are the biggest thing right now. Prices start at $100.00 and up :fun4:

I am soooooo glad i live in Australia. It is rare not to be able to pick up nice colonies for less than $40-50 Aussie dollars. I imagine the transport costs add a fair bit. PS i am in Toronto in a couple of weeks for work and i will be watching my first ice hockey game (yeah for me). Are there any good aquarium shops worth visiting.

Erik nice score dude! I believe that one was listed as a digitada type sps....but it's probably more of a mille? How's your other mille doing?

Along with Sea U marine, REEF RAFT, Oakville Reef Gallery, North American fish breeders you should visit Aquatic Kingdom. Probably the biggest store as it has fresh and salt as well as nice pond koi and crazy reptiles. They had a African grey parrot in there at one point. Pretty crazy place....although those listed are all good LFS.

Ian you're right that was the word I was looking for! Althought I'm still not sure why they would use that term because a few other pieces were described as "millepora" and not digitate.

Check out this one

Can anyone ID it? It's aussie as well.

Maybe they just went right off CITES? FWIW I plan on calling it true mille. BTW I just saw the Fedex truck drive to the back of the datacenter...time to grab my box of goodies!

This was the other one I grabbed (no Aussie).

Erik how the heck did you get that piece? I saw it posted as the main pic for the sps section, but could not find a link to it. I wanted to get that one too!

Sign up for the email alerts. When they send you the alert email it has links in it to all the corals. I noticed once in a while not all the corals show up but are still reachable via the links in the email. Go figure...

Erik, did the color look just like the picture when the piece arrived or did it brown out a little?

I have pieces that looked cool on their website, but arrived no where near as blue as the pics.
