Auto Shut off Valve on RO/DI issue

So Ive noticed lately that the auto shut off valve on my RO/DI has been "ramping" up and down, sounds like a little motor going up, than down, and it does this a lot, multiple times a day....any idea's what is causing this?

I'm not in any way an expert here, but it sounds like the little doohickey is sticking.
