auto shut off

My tunze stream 1060 is always shutting off
my tank is heavy with algae and maybe is clogging the tunze
my tank is suffering with no circulation...help

i clean it and put it back in tank then ~24-48 hrs later it is off again. Tank temp is never more than 84F

Don't continue running it or you will destroy the pump. You need to figure it out and fix it.

Something is wrong with the cooling system causing the pump to overheat. Their is a hole in the center of the magnet where water enters to cool the pump, that should not be clogged with lime or debris.

The upper bearing (black part with the red oring on it) is supposed to be seperate from the magnet, the magnet should freely spin on this piece.

You are right again, all it needed was the magnet to be cleaned.
I scraped off a thin layer of calcification on the magnet and it runs all the time once again.
