Auto top off

If you have the stock lid on the tank I would be surprised if a 5gal bucket didn't last you 3+ weeks. There is hardly any evap from the mstock.

I have a tunze ato on my 150 with the pump that comes with it & I love it. It's not a peristaltic pump so it does replace the water pretty quickly. I have a jbj ato on my 40 breeder that I don't really care for but it is more the pump that I use on it rather then the ato itself. I use a cheap peristaltic pump on it that pumps really slow & the ato has a timer on it to act as a failsafe & a lot of times the timer turns the pump off before it fills the sump back up. Two things cause it to do that, first the pump pumps really slow & the float switch on the ato itself has to move a good bit before it kicks the pump on. The water level in the section with the float has to drop about a half to 3/4 inch before it kicks the pump on. The jbj ato has never failed me but it is not as failsafe as the tunze or even the smart ato that other people mentioned

It is a different setup then what u have but my 10 gallon ato container on my 40 breeder last about 8 days & my 15 gallon container on my 150 lasts about a week
