I guess I'll allow a few MI ers to join the group buy, but you must promise to tell all your reefer freinds how well it works.

BTW I'm starting to have doubts that this group buy is going to happen. Kevin has not chimed in, pmed me, or emailed.

I haven't said anything because I am not sure what to say. At the meeting it was brought up and agreed upon that the club would send out the check. The treasurer was out of town and when he came back was filled in on the details by the board members. Jeremy posted that he hadn't received the check yet and emailed me the same message. That was the first I had heard about the check not going out. I don't know what to say about the check since I am not on the board and have no word on when it has or will go out. I don't see the group buy falling apart since the club has the deposits for over $300 so far.

This seems like it has been put into too many people's hands. I will find out more Friday June 2nd after the board meeting. There is no reason for anyone to worry about their money and I don't know what Jeremy wants to do with people who found this through RC and live out of state. This was a group buy that I was trying to get together to help our club members and maybe the other LOCAL clubs too. If he wants to sell these units to other people, outside of the few local clubs, on RC then it is getting into that "commercial sales" territory that make the RC mods tend to ban people because of. (maxi-jet mods by LUTZ493 ring a bell?)

I do not want to deal with collecting money from a guy in Michigan and sending it to Lorain then picking up his ATO unit and sending it out to Michigan. If it is OK with Jeremy to sell these for the group buy price to him then please let him know the paypal address where you would like the payment sent.

Anyone else asking where to send payment, I posted it about 2 weeks ago on 5/21/06 but in case you missed it here is the address of the club treasurer who is now in charge of all the funds for this buy. The deposits that have been collected so far have been turned in as far as I know.

Please enclose a short note to specify what the payment is for (ATO group buy) and include your name and RC name to help keep the list nice and neat.

The group buy was closed Sunday night as posted on 5/21/06 and the list is being gone over to make sure we got everyone. After the meeting I will post a list of names and units wanted to let everyone verify your purchases.

I will post as soon as I have more info Friday night.

Jeremy, thanks for getting started rounding up parts as soon as you could.
If I have any say in the future, things will go much smoother and be more organized than this has become.

Total I have is 23 ATO + 4 kalk units.

This entire thread has been borderline, the quote above is a gross advertisement. You will need to carry this on elsewhere, as my tolerance has been met with a slap in the face.
