Guess I have some catching up to do as soon as I return, in the mean time please DO NOT SEND THIS MONEY VIA PAYPAL! I do not know what was discussed at the meeting but we seem to have difficulty getting Paypal funds into our account.

Thanks much!

Paul

I have accepted one payment into my personal paypal account for this buy. I will send the money from my checking account to the club. If you would like me to collect any other Paypal monies just let me know. If there is anyone out there that wants to send payment via Paypal it is going to be $41.85 each unit after tax and Paypal fees. You can PM me and I will reply with my account address.

Sorry for the confusion Paul. If there is anything you need help with I have several years of Paypal experience and would be willing to help iron out the problems.

Has there been any more word on getting up-graded models at a group rate? I can't remember who I was talking with at the Kalk Build here in Columbus. But he was telling me a little about it.

I make a unit for use with Kalkwasser reactors Top off plus a timer for the mix pump. It mixes just after top off giving the max amount of time between top offs for the perciptate to settle
I will offer a group rate of $54 and still count it as one of the group buys if need be.

Is that one of them listed on your page?
I'm in for that up-graded model. I've already paid in full for the original and will be happy to go ahead and pay the difference up front. Iwould like to use Pay Pal again, or I can just wait to pay the difference when I get it. Just let me know.

Yes I have them listed on my web page called the DDbasic and sell them for 85.00 direct or start auctions at $70.00 allthough I did sell them cheaper during my "introductory" time.

I'm not the one handling the money at this point. Kevin (itzme) is in charge of the group buy, He was concerned about getting different models confused and that the wrong person might get the wrong unit. However my packaging is basically just a plastic zippy bag, the Kalk units have an extra switch and knob and two power outlets, I can tell them apart very easily. I can write a name on each bag (unit) if need be.

Are the products UL and I also have concerns about Product Liability.

They are not UL Certfied, but are built to UL specs. Unfortunatley it takes big money to get certification. The units are grounded and fused and use only high qulity parts like 8 amp snuberless triacs with zero crossing opto isolators and proper trace widths. My instructions require the unit to pluged in to a gfci protected circuit.

I will not be liable for any damge to livestock /corals, equipment, or surroundings resulting from the use or misuse of this device.
That said, I will say I put my company ( 23 years) behind them, and am governed by the laws of Ohio.

I have units here that have been in operation for over 7 years with no problems

I do include a warranty of 90 days parts, labor and shipping. If you are not satisfied with your purchase it can be retured within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.- even for this group buy.

After reading that, I have no worries in the product. And look forward to getting mine and using it on my system. Thank's for offering them to us for such great price.

UL listed is a joke. It basically means you shelled out a ton of cash for a sticker. Neptune systems controllers, ebo jager heaters, and jebo light fixtures to name a few that aren't UL listed.

Rio pumps are UL listed

Coralife power strips are also

No company is going to offer to cover loss due to equipment failure.

No company is going to offer to cover loss due to equipment failure.

Insurance policies sometimes have clauses in them that will
limit their liability in case of a claim made in response to
the failure of a non-UL-listed device. Consider the cost of a large loss home and all of your contents. So check your insurance!

I think it's time for this group buy to end.
Is everybody still in, 22 Standard units and 3 Kalk units?

I Agree, Now that we have a group price for the Kalk topoff model if everyone would post a confirmation as to which type of unit they want so we can get an accurate count of standard and Kalk models. If you do not post a preference and you posted as wanting in on the group buy we will assume a standard model. We need a firm count by 5-31-06 which is tommorrow.

I'm in for the up-graded model. The only thing I need to know is do I pay the difference(since I've already paid in full) now or when I get it? Again I would like to use Pay Pal. If it would be easier I can PP the difference to cdaw directly since it can be difficult for the C-Sea group to transfer money from PP.

I have no problem with pay pal. however I think the hierarchy of C-SEA is managing the money.
I've yet to recieve the deposit, but on my own went ahead and ordered extra float switches and such that I though would take extra time to get here. so The target delivery date remains un-changed ( next meeeting June 16th)
