automatic feeders

We will be going on vacation soon and would like to purchase a reliable automatic feeder. I would like to dispense 2 or 3 types of food multiple times a day. Would it be better to purchase separate units for each food type or is there a unit that can do it all? Our one-spot fox-face rabbit fish is used to having fresh greenery so I want to be able to feed her vegetable flakes throughout the day.

If you have or had an automatic feeder, I would be interested in whether you would recommend the unit that you have. Of course any other information on the topic would be most appreciated too.

Eheim has a new Automatic Feeder that has two chambers so you can feed two different types of food but only a few places carry it. try googling it.

This is the feeder i use\/. Been using it for years without any problem. Whatever unit you buy make sure you get one that uses an air pump. This keeps the food dry. Also you may need a feeding ring so the flake food doesn't go down your overflows, I made one out of a plastic cup cut in half.

I would like to feed the fox-face more than one time of day since she is used to grazing all day and won't be able to while we are gone. The other fish are used to only being fed once a day unless it's fresh fish night.

The feeder Kb posted a link to can feed up to 3 times daily. I just started using the same one because we are going on a cruise and want to try it out first.

You can program up to 6 different daily feed times (3 per food bin). The time is specified with a 24 hour clock (no AM or PM).
