I just finished installing my automatic water change per dr T and others.Ran the tubing through my attic, used a 100 ft apex extension , the stenner pump and a 50 gallon saltwater holding barrel.everything is ready to go,just need to dial in my apex instructions for 20 gal a month water change and I'm done.i will not miss carrying the water from my garage, siphoning from my tank, pumping the new water back in and disposing of the waste down the toilet.then putting everything away.
A big thank you for all of the information on the water change thread.looking forward to the next meeting where this will be the topic of discussion.

Just an FYI the next meeting is about water changes. The method of automating your water changes will be part of the topic not the topic. But congrats on your setup, been doing this for years and could never understand why more people didn't automate their water changes. Good friend of mine Chuck aka coralfragger helped me setup things originally with a Masterflex dual head system on my old DT but have since change things out to a Litermeter III setup on my new system. Good luck with your new setup and +1 to Dave also for helping more people realize the ease of automating water changes.

Howard- Glad you where able to hook up an AWC system. Any questions feel free to reach out to me or Dr. Thompson.

The next meeting however is more about Water Change Systems. Ide like everyone to consider putting down the buckets and use ingenuity vs brawn. I will touch up on AWC's but not everyone can do AWC's.

I will show ideas on ways to drop the buckets!!!!

NOW.... Marvin just informed me that an AWC system Dual head Stenner will be part of the raffle... So for $1, you could make an AWC system possible, and join your club. :bounce1:

Howard- you mention water going from fresh saltwater (tank in garage) you your tank. How did you plumb the disposal of the dirty water?
