Finally got my ceramico rock! WOW, it is amazing how porous this ceramic rock is, and it is absolutely stunning, pictures just dont do justice! however it took over 6 hours to properly anchor down and assemble as it is in a few pieces so i could get it in the tank

aqua-tecture is truly an amazing company to work with, i explained to them exactly what i want and they delivered!

pictures when dry assembled

its 160lbs...

the only way i could get this thing in!! was to snorkel in my tank, and yes everyone in the house was laughing at me...

I think the dork-in-the-tank photo has become pretty much standard fare. And to be honest, I didn't really appreciate the scale of your tank until I saw you in it. It will be interesting to see shoals of small fish moving in and out of these rock shapes.

i will post more dork in the tank pics when i get home... apparently my friend took some funny pictures....

Ok Guys, here we go

I have absolutely zero experience in reef tanks but I have over 1000 hours clocked in reading Reefcentral

I hear you man, I have been cruising this site for nearly 5 years and still haven't taken the plunge into salt. I have a pretty nice looking planted tank but it just isn't the same! Moving into a new house in another 3 months so thinking the basement finishing will be focused around a reef.

Your rockwork is amazing, so much open space, pretty pumped to see how things fill in. Awesome work so far, thanks for sharing.
