How do you shrink a photo to make it small enough to make an avatar? I'm looking to change mine out with this picture. Would it be better to crop the pic before shrinking?

Sorry for the change of subject, but I saw your pic and now I'm curious. How come they say that eels are not reef safe ? Isn't this pic of a reef tank ? with an eel in it ??.

For a few reasons, they eat small fish and crustaceans which many of us like to have in our reefs. They also create a lot of waste since they have to be fed meatier and often live foods.

All true but snowflake eels are a little different. They are mainly crustacean eaters, they don't have sharp teeth (to catch fish). Not saying it can't happen but as long as well fed, won't bother anything. Mine still hasn't eaten the cleaner shrimp in the tank!
I wouldn't recommend them to a new reefer though.

What about the avatar?! I got hijacked :)

Looks good to me ChinChek, but how can you get that to me?

Right click the image and save? I hope you don't still have a fruity one button Mac mouse.

If you have paint on your computer, go to paint, select images, click on attributes. You can change the size of the file there. Make sure it the pixies are no larger than 100 x 100.
