Hey everyone check these videos out! This is "ReefChief" This is the store that I would only go to while I lived in Virginia. He moved into a store front last summer and he is doing these workshops in his store. since learning about fishes diets and adding vitamins and such I have not lost a fish in over a year.

I don't feed my fish very often at all. I feed frozen brine, mysis, and cyclopeeze MAYBE three times a week (all at once). Usually twice a day I'll give a small pinch of flakes. I don't like the idea of overfeeding. I prefer good water quality. Another debatable topic.

you can have great water quality and still feed everyday or every other day. Especially if you are straining what you are feeding. Plus, you should have good filtration. I feed almost everyday and my nitrates and everything else are always zero. I also have great colors from SPS and Fat healthy fish. If I saw any change in water quality I would just do an out of schedule water change. But with an over abundance of inverts to clean up any extra stuff I never see a degrade in quality
