Hey guys, I was just in Southwest Saltwater and I had to pick up this fish from the stores Vietnam Order. I have never seen one like this and his personality is awesome. Check him out on his Debut! Not only did I pick up him, but also three Ora Corals, including a beautiful red planet, Bird Of Paradise, and Rose milli! I know when I left tonight that there was one more of these guys left. Better hurry!!

what is it? Where did you disapear to? You built an awesome tank and then disapeared and left us all hanging. Just kidding man. Hows everything going?

haha he looks bad ***....

His colors came out bigtime in your tank...

Has the lawnmower blenny seen him yet?

You better grab that black tang before its sold :lol2:

I have been here! LOL, I will be holding another reefer get together in early December! The fish is a Leopard Rock Skipper Blenny!

--Yeah the lawnmower blenny met him and doesn't like him at all actually. I guess he wants to be the only fat guy

--Not much has changed with my tank since last time, but SahuaritaMike is building me a light rack, so once that is done i will hold a frag swap get together.

Never seen one eat any stony corals but looks like some reports are out there on it. Too cool of a fish not to give a chance. My supplier keeps em in his reef.

I was close to buying one there on Saturday, but I hadn't researched them and I loaded up on coral and damsels. Freakin sweet sweet stuff SWS. Always worth the drive.

Since the fish's main diet is SPS Polyps, I am not taking any chances due to the fact that I want my tank to be SPS Dominated, not dominated SPS! LOL The fish now resides in my sump. Easy to catch though!

There are some other people with blenny problems:

I have a black sail fin in my tank and he doesn't touch any sps that I know of. He does eat hair algae. I think it is kind of like other coral eating fish(angel fish). Keep them well fed. Also it will depend on the individual fish.

Fitchguy, IMO I think your tank is big enough to give it a try. With that large tank your blenny will be able to graze off of the rock, and I don't think he will hurt your coral.

WOW! Glad I didn't buy one. There are dozens of references to them eating SPS coral. Most aquarium info sites state that they rarely survive on anything else. Too bad. They are beautiful fish.

yup, he was taken back to SW Aquatics, and now resides in the big shark tank and loves sunning himself with the natural sun from the windows. Beautiful fish
