Hi there. I've had this frag for about a year. Its a fairly slow grower but very cool looking. It almost has a translucent quality to it. The picture doesn't show the nice purple color. Its still small but starting to grow at a fair pace. Anways, Here's the pic:

Oh and here's another on I'd like to know what it is. Sortof resembles a Tenuis but I'm pretty sure it isn't since I do have one already. The center branches are about 1/2" in diameter. The center is a greenish color and branches are turning a nice blue:

and another one: (older pic)

Thanks!

OK I'll buy Lokani... Looks close enough for me!! Thanks Jason

The second one I'm 99% certain its not a Tenuis. The coralites on the main branches arent even close. The outer branches are very Tenuis like though. I'm pretty happy because I got it pretty cheap and its colored up nicely.

1st one is a little difficult to ID because of it's size. It very well may be lokani, but I think there is a chance it is suharsoni also.

Yeah I'll probably have to wait another year or two for it to grow out into a decent sized colony to get an ID..

Thanks everybody.

Agreed, either a. Lokani, Caroliniana, or suharsoni on the first. Second could be Tenuis, A. Plana ot a. latistella....any closer pics? Ive got a latistella that looks pretty similar. Heres my Lokanki:

I assume you mean the first pic is lokani? IDing these corals is not an easy thing and I am no where near perfect at it, but your pic is not lokani. Maybe caroliniana?

I rec'd these Id's from Chris at RM. He's one of the best I know and has seen thousands of corals........sorry but I trust his guesses. I bought this as a Bali aquacultured lokani and it was Id'd seperately by Chris and a bunch others. It has also been fragged and has not regained it's long tips.

it looks way to fat to be a lokani, mine has more tubular branches, little to no taper to them, neither did the mother colony that was fragged to hell and back. nor did any of the frags after growing out. just my 2 cents.
