Baby anemone?

I purchased a rose anemone that split from a nice display tank at my LFS. I have had it for a month and I noticed today that there was a small anemone growing next to the foot. I can't find anything on this and wanted to know if this is a common thing. It has a few pink tentacles nubs. I will try and upload a pic later.

Any input is appreciated.

Here is a pic. Its not good but its definitely the same anemone, it is right next to the foot and it's the same color as the foot. I can see pink on it too. I've seen posts where people think apastasia is an anemone, but not the case here.

Very hard to tell from the pics but I would say its just a plane hitchicker anemone. How long are the tentecals of the "baby" anemone?

I can't see diddly squat in the pic, but anemones can grow babies like you described. It's called "budding" and BTAs have been known to do it, but not often.

It is possible... but uncommon. Let's hope it is the case! But please take some nice photos! It would be great to document it as it grows! If it is truly a "bud" there are almost no photos available.
