By way of update, I've put some of the larger berghia into other culture tanks and in a growout tank since they seem to be large enough in a semi-controlled QT tank.
If you've got some ready to go. I will buy some from you at the meeting Sunday.Owe and I will bring you some aptasia. I'm wondering if I can pull some of the big ones I've got off the rock and maybe they'll live.
Bob,
They are still babies, so probably not good to release into active tank. They would be ok in a QT tank where frags were treated to kill off pods before putting into QT, to reduce likelihood they eat ther baby berghias before they mature.
So, yes, happy to sell you babies if you plan to make a frag isolation, aiptasia eating area.
Otherwise, they would die and would be waste of effort. They are not mature enough to lay eggs, so you would only have those berghias eating aiptasia until they mature (2-4 months I am guessing) to lay eggs.
Unfortunately a majority of wolfpack died off due to toxic water from dying aiptasia.
I transported some berghias into another container, so hopefully they'll survive.
