Baby Blue Hippo possibly sick

I bought my 3/4" blue hippo tang a week ago and have had him in quarantine. He has been doing fantastic, eating and swimming, not even that shy. He even ate this morning.

I just went to check on the quarantine this afternoon and noticed he was against the intake of my powerhead so i quickly slid him off and he swam away a little side to side and wobbly.

I know that most fish, especially strong swimmers like tangs, do not usually get stuck on a powerhead unless already sick or dying. He shows no outward signs of any illness. Is there anything that comes to mind that could be plaguing him that wouldn't show any signs at all?

He could have internal parasites that you cannot see but you said that it is eating so it could be water quality in the Qt.

Ammonia and Nitrites have been 0 since day 1, with the exception of today. After I saw him attached to the powerhead I tested everything to see what happened and noticed Ammonia was slight elevated (.25?).
The tank is fully cycled and has been find for over a week so I'm confused why it would have any ammonia today and I still can't imagine that being the reason since he ate so great this morning.

Unfortionately he is not moving at all right now and he is either dead or near dead. :(

ANY ammonia is too much. If you are detecting ammonia then your tank is not fully "cycled".

+1 on the ammonia comments. These tiny tangs are tough to raise. From what I've seen on this forum, they don't have a goods track record. Any healthy fish will not get stuck to a PH and doing so can mess up their insides.
