Baby Copper Cardinal Fish!

Bongo Shrimp

P. ceratophthalma
Here they are! This video is when they had just hatched. According to Matt Pedersen, this may be the first ever documented hatching of copper cards in captivity. Right now they are in a larva tank aka 5g bucket with larval rotifers for food and an air line for some water movement.. There are about 50-70 alive right now.

Be sure to watch in 1080HD!

Had to delete them from the first post so here they are again.

Ok- GREAT NEWS!!! I SEE FULL TUMMIES!!! Look at day 6! Almost all the remaining 10 or so larvae have full or almost full guts now! Guess they were unable to eat the rotifers till just recently.

Holy crap!!! Those are a lot of babies to hold in such a small mouth... Can't wait to see how these little guys do. Congratulations.
