If you see some within 4-5 days they *should* make it, the beggining period is the most vital for all fry.
If youve got a seperate tank I would scoop them out and put them in there. Go buy a couple cheap 10 gallons from somewhere ($12 each) and a couple sponge filters.
The reason is you're going to want to put phyto in the water to tint it green and then add rotifers at first. Unless you can find live phyto local cheap (an let me know if you do..LOL), you're gonna have to use something like instant algae. This will degrade your water quality in the main tank if you put it in there.
If it happens again soon, drop me a line and I will get you the gist of the passages you need out of the book I mentioned earlier.

Kburn, google. When someone asks a question I don't have facts readily available for, I find the facts.
I know you are new to the hobby, but to try and comment and give info about something you know nothing about is completely baffling, just stick to hitting your clowns with sticks and using milk jugs for overflows. The last thing we need is someones loose interpretation of google.
We know how to use google, and there's alot of bad info on the net, so "I find the facts" statement can actually do more harm than good, it's not like you were giving any good researched info either, maybe a discloure saying that you read something on google and you don't know jack ish would be more helpful. Please realize this group is wealth of knowledge, it might be better to get info here than post useless info.

KBurn, why don't you just mind your own business? Jesus Christ. And shut the hell up you're newer to the hobby than I am! You have 1 month more SW experience and 4 years less in FW. And I have raised FW shrimp from a pregnant ghost shrimp. So I do have a little experience with it. And yes I do realize that they are very different but there are a lot of similarities.
