Just having fun
About an hour ago my wife and I spotted a small creature that kinda resembled a snail with a half-*** shell. pardon the language but i cant think of another way to describe it. It has a grayish shell with a white spot on it. Unfortunately he has dissapeard and i cant find him to get a pic. Any ideas?

Pretty sure its a stomatella. thanks for the help. Does he have a purpose and how did he get in there?

They are beneficial to the tank. They eat algea and such to my knowledge. He probably hitchhiked in on your liverock or coral you may have bought. If you have one you probably have many and eventually you will see several. I dont know what their life cycle is like but I have 20+ in my tank after only about a month when I first saw it.

They are quite enjoyable to watch if you like slugs and such ;) They seem to always want to go where they can't reach and you see them stretching as far as they possibly can trying to get there.
