Baby Snails

I have a bunch of small white organisms on the glass. They are far to small to capture in a picture, but they appear to be wound up like a spiral. Could these be baby snails?

I have 5 astrals - 3 cerith

Do these move around? If not, they may be tiny polychaete worms which build calcium carbonate tubes and often attach to glass. They are filter feeders and harmless though often a nuisance if they are attached to your glass.

Thanks for the response. I have yet to see them move, and if they do it's in an extremely slow manner.

Any way to remove the polychaete worms? I've noticed them on some of the LR but mostly on the glass.

They should scrape off easily with a glass scrubber for algae or a razor blade.
