Baby Starfish

Morning All,
I have just seen a baby starfish on the back wall of my tank this is my first baby starfish ever and i want to make sure it lives - is there anything special i should be doing to ensure it has a good long and healthy life?

It is probably an Asterina. It will be fine on it's own. They also reproduce asexually so you can expect to see more eventually.

It could also be a mini-brittle star. There are several kinds that won't get bigger than a quarter. They feed off the water column, and you'll often see their legs sticking out from live rock.

Thank you for your replies, i am very curious to see what it grows into My only concern was it was up near my filter inlet this morning, i dont want it to get sucked into my filter.
