Lookin' good!!!

Thanks ! I had two more fry die on Monday. After looking at them more closely, they seem under fed. So I have stepped up the amount I had been feeding them. Also adding BBS as a treat and freeze dried cyclopeeze (as per request of a LFS owner).

They do look nice.

You can see that the one has really had the crap beaten out of him.

Yeah the one in the second picture ! He's a fighter. I think most of his fin coloration is missing, not actually his fin. The dead fry I find usually have their tail fin missing. Which make it almost impossible for them to swim.

Geez these guys are slow growers. LOL Will try to sell them at the end of the month.

Update photo.

I have eggs again. My white stripe maroon pair have laid again. :D It's been a while since the last clutch of eggs.

Egg update:
Well when I arrived home yesterday after work, I notice the male not guarding the eggs. Not a good sign. For good reason, all the eggs were gone. Maybe the peppermint shrimp had a midnight snack. :( My female looks very fat with eggs, so hopefully I will get another clutch to raise soon. Well back to getting my rot population up again. Reed's rot diet should arrive today.

Eggs hatched out on Saturday night. I placed them into a 5 gallon bucket. In the morning all were dead. They appeared very small and thin when I caught them. I need to be more gentle during the transfer from the larvae snagger to the larvae tank or bucket. :(
