I am back in the hobby after 7 years away. It's good to be back. Starting with a BioCube 32. I have upgraded the stock lights with Steve's LEDs. The tank is up and running for a while now. Starting to get reacquainted with the LFS I used to frequent and leaning the new one that have opened in the last 7 years.

Bio Cube 32
Steve's LED retro kit
tunze 9001 skimmer
Icecap K1

Opens to suggestions on other needed equipment as I am sure there have been an upgrade or two over the years.
Thanks.
Bob & Brenda.

Welcome back. I too have a 32 Biocube, but with DIY almost everything, Things haven't changed too much, but now we have better tests. I run mine using the Triton method, which I absolutely love, since I have done 4 water changes in 15 months.

Everything is doing great so, I plan on sticking with it.

I have to warn you, there are very few of us Anti-Facebook rebels in this forum these days, but we'll be happy to read about your progress and see some pictures.

Here are a few pictures of mine as of a day or two ago.

Webmanny, I would love to know what livestock you have in imyour cube. I also I was trying to add some pics but I can't dugout how to do it either on my MacBook or iPhone. I am on the FB page too but not too many people on their either.

I have mostly corals and more specifically LPS corals and I have 2 clams. I also have 4 little fishes that provide the food for the corals. In addition, I made the back chamber into a fuge, you can see my build thread using the link below.

As far as the posting pictures go, I have seen many people run into the same issue. In my case, I am an Android guy for life and I use their free photo storage for my pictures. They let you link and share online without limits or issues. Their links are huge, but they work fine. I just right click on the picture I want and select "Copy Image Address".

I then paste that link here with the Image brackets around it. It should look something like this, but with "[" at the begining. I had to remove it so you could see the code. Essentially
.

Good luck with your setup. Feel free to jump in here and ask any questions, it may take a while, but you will get some help.
