Started the cycle and got a seed live rock from Bob. Thanks to him for that. I just put a cheap petco pump in there for the weekend. I Ordered a maxijet 1100 and the plumbing necessary to install it, which should be in tomorrow. One question I have is when I should put in the carbon, chemipure elite, and purigen. Im thinking I don't need to do it right away, but am hoping for some input on the subject. This is also the first time I haven't used live sand, so im wondering if there's any tricks to getting the sand established beyond seeding the live rock. Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer those things for me

Still can't get over how much I love how the tank itself looks. So excited to get the tank cycled and everything moved over to the new tank

I can't wait either haha. The stand will be in tomorrow. I got a Biocube 29 gallon stand. The dimensions are almost exactly 20" x 20"

Thanks man. The move was a grand total of about 5 feet so hopefully everything acclimates well

It was a little bit but I cleared the sand from around the mantle gently and basted water on it until the mantle receded and put it in the new tank. It opened up in the new tank and was starting to burrow itself again, so hopefully he's not too upset

A canon powershot with a dying battery Haha. Ill get the model number tomorrow. But i think the batteries are dead enough that its having trouble focusing now. I have a nice slr I need to get new batteries for so I can get some clearer shots
