Back Order?

I have had an order in with one of your distributors since Jan 11th. My wavebox has still not shown up however. they were happy to charge me the full order however and are blaming Tunze for shipping delays. Is this in fact a wide spread problem or do I need to probe a bit more with them? My streams and controller did show, even got the magnets to hang eth wavebox ( not much good without the wavebox however).

It is a problem, January and September are the worst months to order. In Germany they have 6 weeks vacation a year- 2 in December/January and 4 in August. As a result their is substantial downtime since everything is sold out in the meantime and we have to wait for production to start again. The first Waveboxes will arrive in about 2 more weeks. Typically for January almost nothing is available because sales were so heavy over Christmas.

Ah yes that famed European work ethic. Germans are fine engineers however and I love my streams and the controller. (Tapping foot impatiently waiting on the wavebox).

Well, they work hard when they are working and Mr Tunze himself almost never has a holiday.

i am currently on marinedepot's backorder list w/ a 6000+7091 stream kit and a 6080.50 magnet...

how long do you think i will be waiting?

I really can't say, I don't know your place in the line. I expect by March things will be back to normal but the waits will be rather long right now.
