Bacterial mulm on live rock using bio pellets

I have had fuzzy/dusty looking bacterial mulm on my live rock for about 5 months now. I'll blow it off with a baster and it's back the next day. All SPS and fish are healthy and happy all parameters in check with undetectable nitrates and very low phosphates. I do use a DIY nano biopellet reactor with slow steady flow keeping all of the pellets in suspension with no clumping. I am only using half the recommended dosage, with good results parameter wise.

Just wondering, have any of you carbon dosing sps keepers out there had this problem and what have you done to solve it?

Look into Biomate, it is supposed to help break down mulm deposits.

Why is it a problem? I have a healthy bacterial growth in every part of my tank that my fish cant reach. Its good stuff and an important part of the nutrient transport train.

I had this issue to the point my tank looked cloudy...cut back on dosing, 2 extra waterchanges, some fresh carbon and in 72 hours my tank was crystal clear again
