Bad Algae Help Please

This is my tank its 150 Gallon, the tank is one year old and it is covered with algae and getting worst. These are my readings PH is 8.2 nitrade is 0 phosphate is 0.2 salinity 1.024 I run 450W metal halide 4hrs a day plus 2x96w blue attinics 8hrs a day if I attempt to keep the metal halide any longer algae gets really out of control. I do a 30% water change every 5 weeks with RO water. I have an ETS Revolution 500 Protein Skimmer. The temp is 75-78 and I have aprox 40 turbo snails algae is starting to cover corals bad I also use a phosguard filter and poly filters. I NEED HELP take a look at pictures any advice or suggestion would be appreciated

I'm using Biodigest. It's working really great for me. Maybe get a couple of tangs

40 turbos? I only see one snail in your pictures and its an astrea, here's a link for more info.

I have had good luck with turbos and hair algae. Caution they can be bulldozers and will knock stuff over if it isnt secured. They can also get fairly large.

Next you need to control excess nutrients. You're using RO for top off? Is it just RO, or is it RO/DI? How old are the filters, and when was the last time you checked the TDS of your top off? Do you have refugium with macro for nutrient export? How well is your skimmer performing? What do feed your fish and how often?

iuse ro for everthing / i feed 1 time a day mysis shrimp and dry food 1 day alternating /my skimmer seems to skimmig fine /the snails are there it might just be abad pict /looking for help coralrs are being covered

How old are the filters in the RO, and what is your TDS?

dts is 002 and filters are 5 months old i figure i filter about 45 gallons per month
