Bad, bad peppermint shrimp...

Just saw my peppermint shrimp eating the hard tubes that my fanworms live in. One worm had the bottom inch or so of its tube picked away. I can see the worms body but he still acts normally.

Now I'm worried my worms will die and contemplating catching the shrimp and bringing it back to the lfs. Any advice?

Not a fan of the peps myself, they kill snails in my tank.
If I could catch the last one I have it would be gone.

I have a couple of dead snails as well. Not sure it was the pep eating it though.

Peps are notorious for this kind of thing. I tore my tank apart long ago to get them out.

Yes I'm sure its not a camel. I did a lot of research on them. During my research I found many forum posts like mine about peps eating things you don't want them eating. I deducted that they mistakenly had camels and that peps were completely safe, and added them to my tank. Now I'm kicking myself.
