He is a Gonodactylus Ternatensis, (I'm almost positive) And are you willing to ship? I know someone who is very interested

could you try to get a clear full body picture of the mantis, so i could get a positive ID of the mantis
far as i can tell. it is a ternatensis

Are you sure it's a ternatensis??? Those dactyls look, to me, more like a G. smithii than a ternatensis. What color are his meral spots? These are the spots on the inside of his "elbows". If you can get him to do a defensive spread and show you the inside of his punching arms, look at the spot. The color is an identifying characteristic.

It is possible but rare for smithii to have the red stripes. thats why I said ternatensis. Also the uropods are orange, which indicates it is a female ternatensis. I belive it is just more likely to be a ternatensis, although smithii is a possibility. Do you know where the LR came from?

it looks like a smithii to me because of the smasher coloring, the pinkish heel is what reminds me of my old smithii

The blue coloring with the yellow border and opposing pink edge looks just like the pictures on Dr. Roy's ID site. I think it is a G. smithii. When you say black and yellow spots, could it possibly be dark purple spots with a white border? That might look black/yellow under poor lighting.
