bad shipment :(

well guys last night i got my 4th bulb sent from salty critter and it was broken ,guess i wont have my new lights up til the end of the week if im lucky,probably more like next week now

Well, if it's UPS, I know a guy who used to work their part time unloading/loading trucks. He said whenever a package came in that said "Fragile" or really stressed the package was "Fragile" with a bunch of stickers, they would see how far they could throw it or would be really rough with it.

Made me sick to hear that.

the package was way too wide for the t5 bulb and nothing in it to protect it,they sent me an email saying they would send me a new one today....what is this ones bad too,how many times should i go through this before i say enough and just get my money back?

I don't understand. This company is shippin' bulbs that aint that cheap to replace. Bubble wrap doesn't cost that much.

should be in a cardboard sleeve then wrapped in bubble wrap and then placed in a cardboard cylindar. The way I get mine. I think Ive had one shown up broke out of many bulbs.

Hey Mario, What size bulb was it? I have two strip lights that are on my empty tank you can borrow until you get yours in, that is since I really don't think my tank is going anywhere.

I have done 2 shipments from Champion Lighting and have never had a broken bulb, and these are 48" t-12 VHO's they ship in a triangular box custom built to hold 6 bulbs in stryofoam.

thanks jenifer....they are 48" t5 bulbs,though while im building my new canopy for the icepa 660 5 bulb setup im still using my home made t12 canopy.... but i'm not in a huge need for bulbs being i only have inverts and LR and such,i should get this new bulb on friday they said anyways,if it's packaged the way it should be and is broke again i might give them another chance but if it's packaged the crapy way it was before then i'll be getting my money back....paid though paypal and it is a bit easier to get money back that way,thanks again though jen,once i get fish again and corals soon then lights are more of a must and i might take ya up on the offer

ahh thats cool jen,thanks though, i'm hoping that the bulb comes in fine and from now on i may get them locally and having the LFS deal with bad shipping lol
