Bad Trigger!

well I've had my female blue throat trigger in my tank since june or July with no problems...even lived through 2 hurricanes! back in Dec I got some Xenia and its been doing great...till about 2 weeks ago..I started seeing some of the little heads missing when Igot home from work...so I figured my fish were still hungry so I started adding a sheet of Nori everyday. Well today I caught her in the act...I put in the Nori this AM and not even an hour later...I saw her take a big bite out of my xenia! GRRR Anyone else ever seen this with these? its a 55g tank...I feed frozen mysis and froozen formula 1 along with formula 2 pellets every night...plus she pigs out on the nori strip I put in there....I have a feeling either my xenia is gonna die off or I have to get rid of my trigger :(

I guess it depends on your point of view - I just bought an open brain tbat the Herald's angel mistook for a buffet table ...thus I know open brains won't work w/this fish so I removed it. There are plenty of corals he doesn't bother though.

I'd like to also remark on how much easier the brain was to catch than the angel :spin1:

The way I look at it is there is no tank that can have everything - there has to be give & take.

BTW I didn't mean to be unsympathetic - I know it's aggravating - They aren't like dogs that can be disaplined - you just have to stand there helplessly while they chomp something they shouldn't.

I put a brain in mine and withiin minutes the 2 regal tangs thought it was lunch also so I removed it and gave it to my friend. I guess it is just hit and miss.
