Bad Weather: Possible Postponement Of January Meeting

I have been following the weather closely and it looks like the weather may turn pretty bad on saturday the 20th. From the reports I have been reading this morning the chance of snow ranges from 50% to 100% with some sites predicting a foot of snow. Obviously this would prevent a meeting.

I will keep track of the storms coming in as well as talk with UCO regarding the road/campus conditins. I will post in this thread before the meeting whether we will continue for postpone for a week or so.

Please make sure you check both here and on our website www.mycomas.com to see if the meeting is continuing or not.

I will post --by 4.00pm on saturday the 20th --- what the status of the meeting will be.

the January meeting WILL BE POSTPONED.

i have been in contact with UCO this morning and they are already beginning to cancel programs scheduled for tomorrow. As much as I hate to postpone this meeting, especially after all the coverage in the press recently, I would hate to think people would travel in bad driving conditions.

Im sorry I havent been able to post this sooner, but I was really hoping to see a change, or delay in the onset of the snow.

The tentative rescheduled date for the meeting will be 7.30pm at UCO on the 27th.

---hopefully the weather will cooperate with us on that evening.
