Bah I screwed up. Will MD have mercy?

Hi there,

I ordered (among other things) 2 of the Algae Free Sure Grip Magnets. I got the 100s. I finally sat down to do the mod for my MJ900s this weekend and was going to glue it to these mags. Pulled them out of the box and they are huge! Is it possible to swap them out for the 50s? I ordered them on 07/26. Honestly I didn't even notice the 21 day return policy. Just assumed it was 30days like most places.

Hello,

Thank you for your post, Both magnets measure the same in size L 3 1/8" w 1 3/4" and are 3/4" thick. The only difference between the 50 and the 100's is the actual holding power of the magnet. The 100's can handle glass/acrylic 3/4" thick or less and the 50's can handle glass/acrylic 1/2" thick or less.

Thanks. I was hoping the less powerful ones were smaller. These things are a killer! I had to get a screwdriver between them to pry them apart.

Honestly I'm afraid to use them. The snap together like a bullet. I'm nervous about getting them near my glass tank...
