Bali Green Slimer Colony

Anyone have some nice pictures of a full colony? I'm thinking of buying a frag and can't decide.

Had this coral for 4-5 years, but has been restarted from branches a few times, when it got too big before current upgrade (photo as at present, although its grown since then, had the middle pruned out), and also when it was looked after in a freinds tanks during a move, where it was beaten up by a nasty momma clown.

It grows quickly in my tank, struggles in others, and can deteriorate quickly. But can really get going when its happy.

yeaaa uhhhh damn. thats thing is gnarly! my puny slimer branches arent anywhere near that..... I can see multiple halides in the reflcetion what you got cookin those things!?

Luminarc giving that impression, but tank has 3 400w SE halides, as well as T5's.

slimmer?

slimmer?

no picts,but my colony was 10"tall8"wide,gave away alot of frags last summer,since then has been growing good but i havent seen this,the ends are glowing bluish/purple under 250w 14k/65w compacts,anyone seen this?mikid:rollface:

Not sure if mine is the exact "green bali slimer" it is different color than many i have seen, and is just getting started as a small colony.

Thanks...I've decided to give it a try then. Looks like the color and growth is amazing.

I might just let it take over my whole tank.

Sort of a yellow/green. Turned more green under phoenix bulbs.


Started as this (w/ bad acro crab ).

Now about 1.5 yrs later. very fast grower
