Hey Jeremy,
I took down the 150 (pic I posted) back in the spring of 2003 when we upgraded houses. I gave all the corals to a buddy to hold. As luck has it he was one of the first in So Cal to host AEFW...I setup the new system (120 in wall) around 02/04 and added what was left of my corals, about 6-8 corals. That tank was a complete failure. To this day I don't know why. I can only hope it was the AEFW even thou we didn't see many signs of em.
In July of this year I pretty much replaced everything. New tank, lights, rock, sand, skimmer, pumps...you name it. So far the tank is doing good with lots of snails, couple fish and some test frags. I got rid of some pumps and changed the plumbing a little. The chiller was coming on 2-3 times a day a few years ago, even during the winter. Now its once a month, if that..
My god i wish a had a tiny frag of that monster. Vwery well done and just amazing how it looks in your tank. That has to be one of the biggest ive seen around here. To bad you live so far or i would be tempted to break in and steel a frag
