Hi guys!

I have one Bali Open Brain (Trachyphyllia, I think) for about 6 weeks.
When it arrived was big and 'fat', and was perfect for about 1 week. After that it is strange. it keeps opening and inflating, but seems like it is pointing to up and it is not so big as before.

I tried change his place for where there are less light and circulation, but nothing changed.

I was thinking about my rabbit foxface nipping it and tried some days protected (inside a breeder), but nothing changed again.

I have a lot of LPS (candy cane, acanthastrea, euphyllias) and everything are perfect, except my open brain.

my water parameters are perfect (Ca: 420, ALK 8 Mg: 1290).

Has anyone any idea what's happening?

Thank you so much for any help (and sorry about my english)

I would place it where it was in the second picture and leave it alone for at least a week. Don't touch it, don't feed it, nothing. Sometimes it takes awhile for a coral to settle down once it's introduced to a new environment. GL.

Hi cloak!

but it was on that place for at least 3 weeks.

I will try again, but I don't know if will help.

thanks, anyway.

Do you have anywhere else in the tank where the coral will have plenty of space? Nothing will brush up against it or anything? Your tank looks great, so I don't think your parameters or the lighting is out of whack. I think it might just be a real temperamental coral. Any touching or fiddling with it just prolongs the tantrum IMO. GL.

Make sure it has flow .. It needs to feed.
