Bam Bam's first confirmed kill...er' meal I mean

I know most everyone in this forum has a Mantis, or is about to get one. Well, I just got Bam Bam a few days ago and as I type this, he is wailing away on a hermit crab! Unbelievable. He has eaten some frozen food, but this is his first live kill since I got him. I will get pictures of him soon hopefully. He is a 3 inch peacock. Anyways, all of you with mantis shrimp know how exciting they are at first! I had to share with someone.

Great name!! I didn't think I was being to original with that name...but my wife laughed, so it works.

I didn't get to see the feeding, I dropped the hermit crab in front of one of his many entrances to his cave, and he ran out, grabbed it and drug it into his cave. I just got to enjoy the 5-10 minutes of bangs!!
