anyone ever try growing a saltwater variety of bamboo as an nutrient exporter?

I'm not too familiar with saltwater bamboo so I'll take your word for it that it exists. My opinion is that its ability to export nutrients would be equivelant to mangroves. Unless you have alot of them probably not very effective at nutrient export.

could you post some pictures of saltwater bamboo. i have never heard of them.

Mine is different. Mangroves are extremaly slow growers, while bamboo is notoriously fast. So it should be very effective, if there is such a thing.

i don`t have pictures, i was asking if anyone had done it . i figured since it was a grass and fast growing it would work better than mangroves. I just remember seeing bamboo growing in the ocean years ago so was wondering if anyone had experience with it.
