Any good refrence sites for this type of pipefish? I just keep finding the same general information about them...

Mainly I wanted to find out about their eating habits. Mine is eating well during the day, but I see him being VERY active at night. Do they feed at night a lot?? Should I do a small feeding at night? Thanks! :)

I have a different kind of pipefish, but they are also most active at dawn and dusk. They hide when the lights are on. It's definitely a good idea to feed a few times a day. Try putting in some food right after you turn out the lights, or in the morning before they come on.

Is yours eating frozen food? Mine eat cyclops, cyclop eeze, Nutramar Ova, and small mysis shrimp. I think it's good to give them variety. Make sure you have lots of copepods, also. Mine don't get along, so I had one in my reef tank and one by itself in a tank with very few pods. The one in the reef tank is a lot bigger than the one that only ate frozen food. I also have a HOB refugium on the reef to supplement pods.

I have a medium pod population, atm... My pipefish is really active during the day as well though, swimming all across the tank.

I mix my own food, but I think it tends to go for the cyplopeeze the best. My food includes... Rotifeast, mysis, cyplopeeze, chopped oyster, nori, plankton, krill, selcon, garlic extract, octopus and scallops. I think thats about it. :p

I'm feeding about 4 times a day atm not only for him, but for a couple anthias I have in there. Overall he seems very fat and healthy.
