Bandit Angel not eating (Apolemichthys arcuatus)

I again, disagree... I never said multiple clarion are an issue, what I did say is they are an aggressive angelfish, that are most likely unsuitable with some of his other angelfish choices. I am well aware of the captive breeding efforts, it doesn't mean that they aren't mean to similar fish... And I have witnessed it first hand.

Fair enough...
I would only add that many who have Clarion, keep them with many other angels, of varying sizes, without issues...
but we all have our own experiences...

Hey Ted,

How do you think a Clarion would get along with an established Bandit?

470g 120x29x31".

Sorry for being off topic! If the Bandit was held at a wholesaler, Live Brine is a good bet to get it to eat.

Hey Peter,

There has never been any real aggression between my 4 clarion and 3 bandits or the angels in the tank...get a small clarion...

Great thanks Ted :)

Really the only two Angels I want in the tank (mixed reef).

The Bandit will be soon, the Clarion will be a reward for Coral Imports doing well :P

Bad news. The eating bandit died today. In the morning I saw a wound at the back fin and he stop eating. Scarus quoyi does this I think. Also a very small Venusta died after 24 hours. The second one is okay. Bad day...

Bad day again! Second arcuatus just died.

Don't know if I buy the arcuatus again but when I have to change more things.

You can give some points to do it better?

Depending on where you get them from between 2-4" is best, on the smaller side is ideal of what I said. Are you sure the tank is disease free? My bandit stopped eating when food between tanks was intermixed due to ich. Treated with CP now everything is back to normal.

Hallo Dmorty,

no ich in tank. I look for size you advise me and put them in separate tank. In display tank it's to difficult because tankmates are to fast.
