bandit angelfish

moonpod: Let me know how yours does. I've got an order with Brian for other fish.

Large--Brian doesn't have one for me. He is still recovering from a micronesia trip. He's gonna start collecting soon and then he's gotta make sure the thing is eating so....it might be awhile.

Bandit Angels should be fine in 82-83 F at least - the water is that warm during the summer here and the fish don't seem to mind. Maybe you're thinking of masked angels (Genicanthus personatus) instead?

Lawboy & SD, thanks for the input. I can't imagine these guys surviving on formula 1 for long - they're really heavy sponge eaters.

why are we always drawn to fish that is difficult to keep...i hope mine will last a while...right now she is eating well and seems to be ok...keep my fingers crossed:)

I don't know much about masked angels, other than that they're supposed to require colder water than most angels and are very rare. In most of Hawaii, they're found in very deep water (300'+) but can be found quite shallow in the Northwest where the water is cooler and collecting is not allowed.
