Bandomo's ReefBox: A New Journey...

I would skip the bio-pellets, go vinagar or vodka dosing. I had decent results with pellets but took them off recently and my zoas look better, I think it was stripping too much nutrients.
 
^^^. Ill always say KISS!!....even on the carbon dosing. Those are very extreme measures that only need to be instituted, if all other simple measures fail. Like WC's

I agree. The goal is control. Once you're nutrients get in check, you have to dial back the production rate in order to balance the cleaner tank. This is a great video from LA FishGuys. Skip the first 2 and a half minutes.

Very cool video Jovany. I like it. I did not know there were recirculating BP reactors. Sounds like it would be perfect for low nutrient tanks. Curious to see how it goes for you.
 
Sorry guys for the lack of updates, been extremely busy working on a new project for the last 3 months. Until now, its totally been in the DL

Hey jovanny its Erwin. I dont know if you remember when i passed by your new store a couple of weeks ago with my wife. We spoke for a little and i mentioned to you i had worked for Henry, the previous store owner there. You have an awesome store and i wish you the best. I will be passing by there soon again for sure. Erwin, thanks for the complement buddy. I try to be as active as possible, time permitting. Hopefully once I get all organized, I can became as active as I was in the past. With time, I hope ReefBox becomes a place hobbyist can gather to share ideas and continue to advance the hobby.

Marvin, if I'm not mistaken the tank hop is taking place down in Miami this year, correct?
The 27th is also the same day as the Grand Opening for the store. Perhaps the bus can meet there? That way, once the tank hop is finished, everyone could just hangout. Plus, I'm raffling a black tang :)

Should be lots of fun!

all in time buddy! I'm sure in time our ideas can only make advancement in our hobby and with passionate people like yourself who are running stores, things can only get better bro.
 
Great build! and wow what an update lol I know you haven't opened yet like you said, but it's on bird and 74th? I will definitely stop by when I'm in the area.
