Sunday i bought a pair of bangai cards, they eat and seemed very strong up until tonight when i noticed the bigger one (seems to be the strongest) laying on its side breathing heavy. I did notice earlier that it was breathing a tad bit harder than the other. The small one is fine...

any suggestions or is a rap??

I CAN KEEP MY COPPERBAND, CLOWN, ANTIES AND SO MANY OTHER FISH ALIVE IN MY REEF BUT ALL MY CARDENALS DIE WITH IN A WEEK FOR SOME REASON. THEY EAT , SEEM TO MATE AND THEN SAME THING HAPPENS TO MINE

Maybe they were caught using drugs? I've read that it can take a week or more before fish die from injuries associated with cyanide capture.

No easy answer .. overstocking is a stress inducer and may be part of the problem .. 5 fish is alot for that sized tank.

A water change and perhaps some live brine shrimp may help .. but not info to go on.

A lot and in a very short amount of time. I'm guessing no QT either? I'd really suggest getting one.
