Bangaii cardinal with ornamental shrimp?

Getting my stock list together for a 45G cube. I would like to include 4-5 Pederson Shrimp, which max out about 1-1 1/2". I would also like to include a bangaii cardinalfish.

Would love to hear back from folks with experience if keeping small ornamentals with bangaii is not recommended because there are some instances or prey/predator or if they would definately enjoy an expensive snack?

Has anyone had success with this combo?

Baggais aren't overly aggressive, they just kinda hover. However, they do have large mouths... I'd be careful.

Its definitely going to be a risk. Google around and you will find images of shrimp meeting the business end of cardinals lol. I have had no issues with my cardinals (PJs and Bangaiis) and my cleaner shrimp (skunk and blood red) but they are good bit larger than the pedersons.

Thanks for responses, that was what I was thinking, but wanted to hear if the practical experience was that it was more of a warning. If they can eat cleaners they will have absolutely no issue with these guys.

Probably leaning toward the shrimp over the bangaii.
