banner ad question

I just seen a banner ad at the top of the page that said 100 blue legs for $19.99. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until I refreshed my page. Does anyone know what web site that ad was for?

That's funny. That happens to me all the time. I'll click a thread on the board and as the page starts to load a banner ad catches my eye as it's too late.

Consider Scarlett Legged Hermits instead. They are not nearly as aggressive as the Blue.

??? What should I put in for a cleanup crew? I have a bunch of nassarrious(sp) snails now and an arrow crab. I feed my 2 clowns, sailfin tang, and blue spotted goby frozen mysis, frozen brine, and cyclopese regularly. I was just gonna throw in a bunch of crabs to get the extra food from the bottom and the rocks. What are your ideas?

my suggestion is a massive overhaul on your approach to running your reef aquarium.

what kid of problems are you having. I have never bought any type of clean up crew. The only snails I have are things that have come in from live rock

1) Arrow Crabs are extremely destructive to desirable invertebrates

2 ) Nassarius shouldn't be necessary if you run a reef aquarium properly

3) 100 blue leg crabs... What size is your aquarium? 100 blue legs might be appropriate for a 250- 500 gallon reef aquarium. I wouldn't put 100 in my 225. Even when I was a noob the most I placed in my 225 was a dozen.
100 blue legs is what a LFS orders.

4) Why is there "extra" food on the bottom of the aquarium and rocks?

I never said I was the only one the only one gonna be going in on 100 if I was gonna get them. I thought that any site that can offer a deal like that has to have other good deals. I'm gonna end my involvement in this thread by saying.... I'm sorry that I can't know everything about everything yet, everything I read said that the arrow crab was reef safe. I'm not a big fan of being belittled and ridiculed when all I was doing was asking for advice. I usually try to keep personal feelings out of this stuff but I'm feeling slightly abused and offended. I may be wrong but that's how I feel. I think that some people on here take things way way way to far. Its a hobby..... its suppose to be fun but I'm not having much fun at the moment. Now I'm rambling and showing my age and immaturity. Night.
