Hello Club,

We will be accepting Donations to the Steinhart again on the October 14th meeting. Please let us know if you will be donating any coral.

Our last donation is doing well, corals are alive and growing. Maybe as part of my next SF tank tour we will visit the Steinhart again to see the progress.

I have more cap and digi for the Steinhart donation on the 14th. Also some Tonga acro from the first batches that Bookfish sent back when he was over there.

I'll see what else I can frag

Do I have to be a member to donate at the BAR meeting? I can donate a cali tort, the original superman, orange cap, green stag with blue tips, and some other sps.

My tank has red bugs though, but they do not seem to be affecting any of my sps. Let me know is this okay.

Anybody attending the meeting can donate.

Donations do not need to be anything special like what a collector might want. It will be going into a humongous display. Anything that can grow fast and fill in space would do well.

Plain old digi, cap, sliimer etc would be perfectly fine.

The red bugs are a possible concern, but Steinhart will be keeping the donated corals frags in a separate growout bin. We had talked briefly about medications and treatments, and I believe they can deal with what comes in.

Best would be for Apon to double check if they prefer not to accept frags with known baddies.

Perhaps you could do an overnight Interceptor treatment? Or at least Pro Coral Cure or strong Lugol's.
