Bare Bottom Tank?

I'm setting up an anemone and clownfish tank and am trying to decide between a bare bottom or about an inch or two of sand. I'm going to have a deep sand bed in a section of my fuge/sump and am planning to have BTAs so I'm leaning towards bare bottom. Anyone have any opinions?

For BTA's BB should be fine, they will most likely be on rocks anyway.

As long as you don't plan on getting any of the sand dwelling anemones BB is fine.

I think I will go bare bottom then. If the BTAs go well and later I decide to get a haddoni or magnifica, then I'll add some sand from my fuge.

if you're maybe thinking about adding sand later for an anemone that needs it, i would just set it up now and save yourself the trouble later.

Magnifica is not a sand dwelling anemone. Haddoni is though.
